Our Chancel ChoirThe music for the 10:30 AM service each Sunday is led by the FUMC Chancel Choir, directed by Jed Beebe and accompanied by Marvin Stilliens. The choir ranges from 20-30 people on any given Sunday and sings a wide variety of selections -- classical, ancient, contemporary, gospel, etc. The choir is a very diverse group of people (age, gender, ethnicity, training, ability) who share a common bond -- the love of God expressed through song. Traditionally the choir sings September through June, with a break during the summer, has a weekly rehearsal at 6:45 pm. on Wednesdays and arrives at 9:50 am.Sunday morning for a final run through and warm up. Under the leadership and support of Beebe and Stilliens the choir has steadily grown over the past five years. These two bring dynamic leadership that has helped to form this choir into a powerful voice for worshipping God. There is always an open invitation to join the choir -- if you love to sing and want to be a part of a group of people who feel the same please contact the church office.
